Sales Porter

Job Summary:

The Sales Porter at Jay Auto Honda in Bedford, Ohio is a crucial member of our sales team responsible for ensuring the dealership's lot and showroom are well-maintained and presentable to customers. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry that includes a mix of technician, skilled labor, and contractor responsibilities. As a sales porter, you will be an individual contributor, working alongside our sales team to provide top-notch customer service and support.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $15 to $17 per hour, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and 401(k) options.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain the dealership's lot by organizing and moving vehicles to designated areas.
- Keep the showroom clean and presentable for customers at all times.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing inventory of vehicle keys.
- Perform light maintenance tasks on vehicles such as checking tire pressure, replacing batteries, and topping off fluids.
- Ensure all vehicles have the necessary documentation and are ready for test drives.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly greeting and assisting customers on the lot.
- Assist with transporting customers to and from the dealership.
- Assist the sales team with moving and arranging vehicles on the lot as needed.
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure vehicles are serviced and prepared for customer delivery.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Physically able to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and occasional evenings.
