Job Description - Sales Rep-B2B

STP is a team dedicated to providing the best-skilled tradesmen across New England to some of the best and longest-lasting commercial construction companies. Good news: We are growing! We want to add a Business to Business Sales Rep, to the team to ramp up our face-to-face and phone presence in the field, covering Maine and New Hampshire. This employee will conduct sales out in the field via face-to-face interactions, as well as over the phones and via email, with potential and existing customers. They are responsible for offering the best possible customer experience and explaining any new updates or needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reach out and respond to potential customers and candidates via phone and email. Act as a point of contact and build influential customer relationships during the selection process; create and ensure a positive experience (for both selected and non-selected customers) throughout the entire sales process while on the road.
  • Take and enter job orders.
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, and experience when needed
  • Provide regular update reports about sales activity to the team.
  • 50% in office 50% travel

Preferred qualifications:

  • Construction Sales, or experience working with commercial electrical contractors
  • Ability to present in person and in a phone/call setting
  • Great attitude is the key to this position! We have a team-focused mentality
  • Background working with construction contractors looking for a sales career shift
  • Ability to shift direction and priorities based on the ever-changing critical business needs

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base+Comm+quarterly and yearly bonus (60K-70K base with OTE of 6 figures year 2)
