Sales Representative

Hoss Rentals is looking for a highly motivated & self-driven Sales Representative to join our sales team.  We’re seeking a qualified sales representative to help sell the equipment and services that our customers rely on. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and assisting customers in meeting their needs. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.  The ideal candidate would have the following skill set:

-3 years oilfield related sales experience

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to build rapport and trust with customers

-In-depth product knowledge

-Time management and organizational skills

-Ability to handle objections and overcome challenges

This is a salaried position that includes quarterly incentive bonuses. Benefits package includes BCBS Medical, Dental, and Vision, along with life insurance, 401k with company match, and more.

 Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ensuring quality products and services are provided to the customer


• Knowledge of equipment and tools commonly used in the oil & gas industry


• Basic math knowledge used in common calculations


• Must be professional and motivated to complete all tasks assigned and possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision


• Must possess the ability to safely operate all vehicles and equipment assigned


• Must have working knowledge and the ability to use computers 


• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be able to effectively communicate with other employees, managers, and all other relevant third parties involved with the jobs performed. This includes (but may not be limited to) typing, speaking, reading, writing, and hearing.


• Comply with all company and location Safety/DOT policies to work safely in a potentially hazardous environment

Education and Experience:

Basic:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Must pass a drug screen, MVR check, and background check pursuant to local, state, and federal rules.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job (but are not limited to).

The employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time, unassisted. This job also requires full range of body motion to include handling and lifting. The incumbent must repeatedly lift and/or move up to 50 (FIFTY) pounds unassisted. Visual acuity, hearing, speaking, reading, and writing must be adequate to perform all required tasks in a safe manner.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. While some work is done in office, the majority of the time is spent in the field with customers. Work is usually done outdoors and sometimes at a client facility or job site and is frequently performed in inclement and/or extreme weather conditions. The incumbent is exposed to moving electricity, mechanical parts, vehicles, equipment, and hazardous materials. This position regularly requires long work hours and frequent weekend work.
