Fireplace & Chimney Authority is seeking a Sales Representative who exceeds expectations. If you have a proven track record of surpassing sales goals, building strong customer relationships, and educating clients on high-end fireplaces, grills, and outdoor products, we want you on our team!
What You’ll Do:
- Engage customers in our inviting showroom, turning leads into sales.
- Provide expert product knowledge and customization guidance for fireplaces and outdoor features.
- Visit job sites to measure and consult on custom products.
- Build lasting customer relationships through follow-ups and post-sale support.
- Support showroom events, from product training to cooking classes.
What We’re Looking For:
Sales & Customer Service Experience (preferred).
Self-motivated & goal-driven individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment.
Basic knowledge of construction, appliances, or mechanical trades (a plus).
Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license.
Availability Tuesday-Saturday (Monday-Saturday during peak season).
- Willingness to work at both Lisle & Elmhurst locations.

Our story began in the mid-nineties when two business partners decided to open their own chimney company to serve their local area. The business originally offered services like repairs, cleanings, and inspections with the goal of adding value and longevity to their customers homes.
After listening to the unique needs of local homeowners over the years, our founders noticed a need to extend their offerings to include fireplaces and outdoor living items. Other stores at the time were not customer friendly, clean, or modern. This problem sparked the idea for Fireplace and Chimney Authority as we experience it today.
Today our two locations are not only the most customer centric in the industry, our unwavering commitment to offering an ultra-extensive experience is second to none. Our knowledgeable team of industry experts takes every customer from the beginning design stages to purchase and installation with confidence and ease. However, our value does not end after purchase.
