At Pete Shaw - GEICO Local Office, we are seeking a career-minded and driven individual to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling insurance policies to prospective customers. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to start a career in insurance sales and is willing to learn and grow with us. No insurance experience? No problem!

We are seeking a driven individual with a positive attitude to join our team. As an Office Representative, you will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to develop your skills and knowledge in insurance sales, plus we will pay for insurance licensing 100%. You do not need insurance experience. We will consider all backgrounds. The base salary for the entry-level position is $37,500 per year. With added incentives, you may make up to $47,500 In the 1st year.


What You’ll Do:



  • Build and nurture lasting client relationships to understand their unique insurance needs.

  • Educate clients on a variety of insurance products and recommend the best options.

  • Deliver top-tier customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and products to provide expert guidance.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed agency goals.


What We’re Looking For:



  • Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and listening.

  • A goal-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed expectations.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability.

  • Confidence with technology and ability to learn new systems.

  • A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

  • Current insurance licensing (Property/Casualty and/or Life/Health) is a plus.




Compensation: $37,500.00 - $47,500.00 per year
