Sales Representative / Account Manager

The Sales Representative / Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, driving sales growth, and supporting accounts within an assigned territory. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, helping to identify opportunities, promote products, and deliver exceptional service. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Manage customer accounts and support order placement, reorders, and account growth.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence within the assigned territory.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
• Build and support customer marketing programs and product displays.
• Call on end users and key decision-makers to generate product awareness and sales opportunities.
• Analyze sales performance, customer activity, and market trends.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with product returns and related documentation.
• Communicate regularly with leadership regarding sales activity and customer needs.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5+ years of outside sales, business development, or account management experience.
• Distribution sales experience highly preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
