What You'll Do as a Sales Representative / Estimator
Develop relationships with general contractors, developers, property managers, municipalities, engineers, homeowners, and other clients to generate new business opportunities.
Identify paving, maintenance, and asphalt rehabilitation projects that align with our services and growth goals; prepare accurate estimates.
Meet with prospective customers on-site to understand their needs, evaluate project requirements, and provide professional recommendations.
Prepare accurate proposals, bids, and pricing packages that position projects for success while supporting profitable growth.
Review plans, specifications, and project documents to develop thorough and competitive estimates.
Calculate material quantities, labor requirements, equipment needs, subcontractor costs, and other project expenses.
Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, project managers, and field teams to ensure estimates reflect real-world project conditions.
Support successful project execution by maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams from proposal through project completion.
Our Ideal Sales Representative / Estimator
Construction-Savvy: Brings at least two years of construction industry sales or estimating experience, with asphalt paving experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent experience required
Relationship Builder: Naturally connects with customers, earns trust, and develops long-term business relationships.
Organized Professional: Manages multiple estimates, customer interactions, and project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.
Technically Capable: Comfortable reviewing plans, preparing estimates, and utilizing Excel, estimating software, and related technology tools. CAD experience is a plus.
Self-Motivated Communicator: Takes initiative, communicates clearly, and works effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Values-Driven Team Member: Demonstrates integrity, respect, customer focus, and a commitment to supporting our faith-based culture.
