Position Title: Inside Sales Representative Shred-it Web New Business
Location: Chicago, IL 60606
Expected Duration: 3+ months.

Pay Rate: $20/hr.
Purpose and Key Job Activities
- The Inside Sales Representative, Shred-it Web New Business secures new business by selling scheduled and purge Secure Information Destruction and Compliance Service Solutions.
- In this role you will be responsible for growing revenue and profitability, while meeting or exceeding established annual goals.
The Responsibilities
- Plan and target Call Blocks to action pre-loaded leads throughout the week to demonstrate our capabilities in Secure Information Destruction and Compliance Solutions. Team member must build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Prospecting and business development skills to achieve new business goals and selling scheduled or purge Secure Information Destruction and Compliance Service Solutions (Including: OSHA and HIPAA). Team Member must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of products and services, as well as, the value proposition for customers.
- Result oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Builds and sustains strong, trusting relationships with new customers.
- Motivated by success.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Post-secondary education, major in business, sales and marketing preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience in business-to-business sales.
- Have a consultative sale approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter attitude, driven, and motivated.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products, and strong internet skills.
- Ability to sit for up to eight (8) hours per day.
- Ability to operate a personal computer.
- Ability to talk regularly over the phone with customers and co-workers up to eight (8) hours per day.
