Sales - Solutions Support Representative

Kickstart your career in sales and technical support with Encon Safety Products! We are seeking a motivated, mechanically or electrically inclined individual to join our team as a Sales Solutions Support Representative. This is an entry-level opportunity with hands-on training, making it ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a strong technical background.

️ Note: This is not an IT position. We are looking for candidates with mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing knowledge who are eager to apply their skills in a customer-focused sales environment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

As a Solutions Support Representative, you'll:

• Support customers with orders, quotes, tracking, and technical inquiries
• Review customer technical data/specifications to prepare accurate quotes
• Provide value-engineered product solutions that meet client needs
• Work closely with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure order accuracy and fulfillment
• Manage project bids, timelines, and communication with multiple customers simultaneously
• Maintain accurate data entry in ERP systems (Epicor training provided)
• Handle customer service issues with professionalism and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

• Mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing background (education, training, or work experience)
• STEM degree preferred (will consider technical school certificates/diplomas)
• Entry-level applicants encouraged,  recent grads welcome!
• Basic Excel skills required; ERP or Epicor experience is a plus
• Strong data entry and typing skills (include WPM on resume)
• Excellent communication skills (phone, email, written)
• Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required

Skills That Stand Out:

• Electrical design or mechanical knowledge
• Familiarity with ASME standards
• CAD / AutoCAD experience
• 3D printing or manufacturing exposure
• Project estimation experience

Physical & Technical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
• Close, distance, and color vision with the ability to adjust focus
• Ability to operate a computer, phone, copier, scanner, and related office equipment
• Technical aptitude may be tested
