Sales Support Representative

Dakota Carrier Network (DCN), a provider of high-speed broadband communication services, serving North Dakota customers with locations within the state and through its partnerships, has an opening for a Sales Support Representative in either our Fargo or Bismarck office.  Applications will be accepted through June 9th, 2025, or until the position is filled.

Job Summary:

The Sales Support Representative supports the day-to-day activities of the Sales Account Executives and other sales staff. This position works closely with accounting and operations to ensure services are processed and billed accurately and

timely.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and submits various paperwork internally and to outside companies to enable DCN to order broadband connections throughout North Dakota and across the region.


• Performs necessary follow-up procedures to monitor pending service orders. This may require setting up meetings with internal and external parties to coordinate services. 


• Maintains records used to verify circuits terminating in member company service areas.


• Prepares billing and submits to accounting for processing.


• Maintains customer and carrier contracts.


• Gathers, organizes, and presents data to help the department and company make better decisions.


• Ensures data is accurate and high-quality.


• Answers incoming calls related to quotes and orders and maintains electronic sales records.


• Maintains knowledge of company products and services and the telecommunications industry.


• Performs all other duties as assigned by the Sales Support Lead or Director of Sales & Marketing.

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree and 3 years' experience working in a sales support or related field; or equivalent experience


• Experience working in the telecommunications industry is preferred but not required.


• Experience with Microsoft Office products and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
