Title: Sales Support Specialist

Role Description:

The Sales Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in connecting our company and our merchants. Learn and develop key skills with the support of a senior sales executive to identify business opportunities within our existing merchant base, discover prospects, and research and analyze areas of opportunity to maximize a merchant's potential. A successful Sales Support Representative will maintain excellent working relationships with our merchants, internal stakeholders and centers of excellence. This role is responsible for delivering new business and will closely collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless experience for merchants, impacting merchant satisfaction and retention.

What you'll do:

  • Establish a solid, constructive working relationship with members of the Sales team to help reach goals and increase production.
  • Understand business needs and internal processes by learning from experienced colleagues and proactive self-development.
  • Serve as a conduit to the pricing and legal departments, ensuring consistent progress and serving as project manager.
  • Create tour presentations.
  • Create pricing proposals for merchants.
  • Maintain CRM information including opportunity details, contact changes, product changes and post-meeting notes.
  • Assist with the organizing and planning of onsite meetings, tours and other merchant-facing activities.
  • Drive merchant satisfaction through proactive and creative pre- and post-meeting preparation and support.
  • Other duties/responsibilities as necessary.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a sales-driven environment preferred.
  • Outgoing, passionate, and committed to working in a people-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization, time management and attention to detail skills are crucial.
  • Proficient analytical and computer skills, especially MS Excel and CRM software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-departmental and dynamic environment.
  • Solution-oriented individual who is self-motivated to maintain and exceed goals.
  • Able to deal with and flourish within ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist sales teams with a can-do attitude.

Classification: Non-Exempt

ShipBob believes in transparency while providing a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $57,975-$96,625.
