Job Description - Salon Assistant

Great opportunity for a recent graduate or current cosmetology student! Room to grow as a stylist.

Compensation: $10-12/hr

Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids is an upscale children's salon. If you are a highly motivated individual with high energy, Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is looking for YOU to be a part of our family! As a premier provider of children’s haircuts, Sharkey's is the place to be. We strive to provide professional services in a fun and exciting environment by friendly and experienced staff members. We believe everyone should have an enjoyable experience where "Haircuts are Cool and Fun Rules!"

Our salon assistant should have a natural smile and upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettably fun and exciting experience for each of our client children and parents.

Some of the responsibilities including but not limited to:

Oversee and maintain the health and safety of customers by following the laws and rules set forth by the state board of cosmetology/barbering.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work with kids

Requirements:

Customer service experience

Wear a smile and be available on weekends

Cosmetology license optional
