JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Salon Manager leads in running the salon and creating a fun, engaging experience for customers and a positive experience for team members. This role involves supervising & recruiting staff, marketing efforts, handling customer service, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage salon staff, scheduling, and daily operations.
- Builds positive customer relationships, provides excellent customer service, and resolves customer's concerns.
- Support sales, product offerings, and marketing efforts to drive business growth.
- Oversees inventory management and product restocking.
- Trains and mentors team members to maintain high service standards.
- Prepares daily shifts, based on demand and scheduled appointments
- Handles cash management, sales reporting, and deposits.
- Ensures the salon maintains cleanliness and follows all safety regulations.
- Ensures opening and closing responsibilities are maintained
- Works at least 2 weekend shifts per month
- Works at least 2 evening shifts per week (until 8pm)
- Steps in for the General Manager when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Salon management experience
- Experience working with kids and families
