Sample Book Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

This role is responsible for coordinating and executing the production of residential sample books, commercial tip cards, and marketing projects that support the sales team and York Wallcoverings customers.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Manage project timelines and ensure completion of sample books, tip cards, catalogs, and other sales tools.
• Compile, verify, and maintain accurate product and SKU data in JDE/SAP for each collection and program.
• Collaborate with graphics, marketing, studio, pricing, and product management teams to prepare layouts, back-printing, and publication files.
• Coordinate with printers, bindery, and outside vendors to acquire materials, communicate requirements, and oversee production.
• Review and proof all materials for accuracy prior to final publication.
• Track inventory, reconcile components, and support cost roll-up processes with purchasing and accounting.
• Assist with setup of miscellaneous and special project SKUs and prepare files for non-collection sample programs.
• Partner with Marketing and Studio teams to meet sales and key account needs.
• Support the execution of all activities required to deliver effective sales and marketing tools.
• All other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree in business or related experience preferred
• High proficiency with MS Office, Excel, JDE or SAP
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
