San Antonio Quality Muti-Family Manager
to join their team in
San Antonio, TX . This position will focus on
supporting the Boeing Global Services San Antonio Site with overall compliance to Boeing and industry related Quality requirements. We are looking for a candidate to join the Boeing San Antonio Quality Core leadership team. These Quality Management position is a key member of the leadership team and is located at the Boeing site in San Antonio, Texas. This position is looking for a change agent that will develop and improve policies, procedures and develop organizational and technical strategies. Provides education and coaching on the Quality System and Boeing Problem Solving Method. Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports. Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position requires significant interface with government customer representatives and maintaining a collaborative and positive relationship. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Position Responsibilities: Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving. Oversight and technical approval for RCCA.
Develop relationship with 1st operations/quality teams
Promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Interface with Operations, Quality, Engineering, regulatory agencies and suppliers/partners to resolve issues impacting airplane build, test and delivery. Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports
Staff and direct a technical team in establishing group goals
Monitor group performance against program and functional commitments and developing technical employees within the group
Data Analytics. Analyzes results, metrics and trends to influence team strategy and quality performance
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Manages, develops and motivates a group of roughly 15-20 direct reports
Acts as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by the team. Capable of effectively triaging and de-escalating issues with impacted parties
Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
Demonstrates the Boeing values in a deliberate and observable way
Change Management leader to collaborate and influence cross-functional partners
Develops functional excellence for Quality across the supported Programs
Manages quality team consisting of all quality personnel performing Quality engineering, inspection, and technical activities in support of current & future programs at the BGS San Antonio site.
Responsible and accountable for Quality program management and leadership including resourcing and staffing, program quality performance, quality oversight, product acceptance and verification, quality metrics, Site corrective action board, DCMA customer relations, and timely response to customer and internal corrective action requests.
Proactively communicates with leadership team, peers, and customers.
Keeps others informed by communicating business vision and strategies, program or project status, conducting and participating in leadership meetings, providing presentations and listening to employee concerns and suggestions.
Builds organizational culture that values open and honest communication and first time quality.
Creates a culture of continuous improvement by
communicating/deploying
enterprise best practices and employee engagement to improve cost, quality, delivery, employee job satisfaction and customer satisfaction.
Works with other
management partners
across organizational and functional boundaries to execute on programs, drive improvements and corrective actions, identify and mitigate areas of risk, and proactively work to increase first time quality
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience with Root Cause Corrective Action
1+ years’ experience in a lead or manager position
3+ years’ experience interfacing with an external customer (i.e. FAA, DCMA)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher
Change Agent
Clear communicator
Aviation maintenance experience
AS9100 Audit experience
