Patriot Foundry, a prominent and expanding manufacturing firm, is on the hunt for a skilled Sand Molder to become a key member of our team in Franklin, NH The chosen candidate will be responsible for operating furnaces to melt various aluminum and bronze alloys and pouring the resultant metal into sand molds of various sizes.

The position offers a competitive wage of $22/hr - $26/hr, influenced by experience. Additionally, a bonus incentive is in place, contingent upon objective performance metrics.

Day in the Life:

As a sand molder, your primary responsibilities will entail:

• Setup tooling for new orders.
• Manufacture greensand molds using hand tools, and squeeze-jolt machines.
• Prepare sand cores.
• Trouble shoot minor issues.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate Is:

• Experienced: Has previously worked in greensand and/or airset molding. With experience making cold and hot cores.
• Physically Fit: Frequently lifts 50 - 100 lb loads.
• Self-disciplined: Follows work instructions and reports issues as they occur.
• Responsible: Remains cautious and alert at all times.
• Organized: Keeps area & machines clean, and good working order.
• Reliable: Shows up consistently, on time, and maintains performance standards.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical duties such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods of time.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrates adaptability and a keen attention to detail.
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• U.S. citizenship or documented residency
• Be 18+ years old
