Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and skilled candidate for our Sandblasting position to support the operations team in Tulsa. This role involves preparing industrial equipment surfaces through sandblasting, assisting with insulation work, and installing protective lagging. The Sandblasting position requires strong attention to safety, precision, and the ability to work in challenging industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sandblasting on industrial equipment to meet SSPC standards.
• Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance.
• Monitor and replenish sandblast media and supplies as needed.
• Assist technicians with the preparation and installation of minwool and ceramic fiber insulation.
• Help install corrugated metal lagging on industrial units.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience with industrial sandblasting equipment.
• Familiarity with insulation materials and installation techniques is a plus.
• Proven sandblasting experience in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of paint types, mixing procedures, and spray systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, blasting equipment, and inspection gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed and work in confined spaces, at heights, and around airborne particulates.
