Sandblasting Technician

We are currently looking to urgently hire Sandblasting Technicians for 1st and 2nd Shift.

The Sandblasting Technician purpose is to ensure that paint and other organic finishes are removed from racks/components in accordance with established company instructions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be physically able to work up to 12 hours a day with most time spent on your feet.
• Read and understand English.
• Loading, unloading and transfer of components.
• Self-directed efforts to work at an efficient pace to accomplish work and projects assigned on and ahead of schedule.
• Sand blasting of racks and various other components.
• Respond efficiently to unplanned events.
• Troubleshoot and work through process equipment problems.
• Follow company quality and application parameters.
• Maintain equipment and housekeeping needs.
• Maintain proper housekeeping of blasting equipment and the area.

Qualification:

• Basic computer skills.
• Education / Certifications.
• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• Previous sandblasting experience, knowledge of machine operation and maintenance.
• Self-directed, strong communication and organization skills, good time management skills, ability to lift 25lbs.
