Responsible for facilitating, planning, and supporting science and technology initiatives within an organization, agency, or program. This position serves as a bridge between scientific research, technology development, and operational needs. The coordinator ensures that technical projects align with strategic goals, timelines, and budget requirements while fostering collaboration among researchers, developers, and stakeholders.

Requirements
REQUIRED
Credentials
- Current Tier 5 clearance or the ability to obtain a Tier 5 with clearance before award.
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Science (ScD) from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of relevant work experience; or Master’s Degree plus twenty (20) years of relevant work experience in at least one of the following research disciplines: Life Science (e.g., biology, physiology, neuroscience), Social Science (e.g. psychology), or a domain/research area related to Human-Systems Integration or related science.
Experince
- In-depth knowledge of the structure and functions of the Naval Research Enterprise (NRE), including the specific roles of ONR program officers and science advisors in advancing S&T development.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers on government-funded contracts.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of implementing process improvement initiatives, developing training programs for junior staff, and coordinating outreach events.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and distill complex technical materials into clear and concise summaries.
- Recent experience providing high-level support to senior government executives
DESIRED
- Holds a DAWIA, FAC-P/PM, or PMP certification in program or project management; prior experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of the Navy (DON) preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in the development and support of Navy Science and Technology (S&T) programs.
