Compensation: $22.08/hour  *Please note that the compensation for this role is fixed and non-negotiable*

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

This position is part of the Teamsters Union 

Essential Functions:

• Ensure timely and proper completion of assigned tasks performed by the Janitorial staff. 
• Assist/back up janitors as needed in ensuring facility sanitation standards are maintained.
• Submit requisitions to Facilities Supervisor for all needed janitorial/food safety supplies, and maintain proper accountability of supplies inventory.
• Assist Facilities Supervisor in the requisition, storage and control of inventory of maintenance supplies under the PFX CA Chemical control program
• Assist the Facilities Supervisor in the maintenance of the PFX CA Safety Data Sheets program
• Ensure timely and proper completion of all daily, weekly quarterly and annual sanitation duties assigned on the PFX CA Master Cleaning Schedule
• Ensure timely and proper completion of all scheduled maintenance tasks in support of the Maintenance for Food Safety program.
• Provide support and complete all needed tasks in support of the facility pest management program.
• Assist the Facilities Supervisor in the removal, storage and/or disposal of product identified as having food quality issues, including product recalls.
• Assist in the receipt, inspection and recycling of PFX CA pallet inventory
• Assist Facilities Supervisor in maintaining preventative controls for any food safety hazards identified in annual Hazard Analysis.
• Assist the Facilities Supervisor in the maintenance of the facility CGMPs (Current Good Manufacturing Practices). i.e. temperature logs, temperature data loggers, rejection of shipments., customer complaints)
• Bailing of facility generated recyclable materials (cardboard, plastic)
• Lift Truck & Harness Training & Certification
• Replacing damaged battery charging connectors
• Logout/Tagout of Equipment/Machinery
• Lift Truck battery watering
• Overhead Lights replacement for offices/warehouse

Requirements

• Be able to stand, bend, kneel & walk throughout an 10-hour shift in order to accomplish cleaning tasks. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs periodically.
