Sanitation

General Duties:

1. Understands the top two      priorities are Safety and Quality in that order.
2. Must be able to lift 50lbs, work aloft (heights), work in confined spaces, use ladders, and work with chemicals.
3. Complete sifter tailings check as required. 
4. Complete Sanitation E.A.M. Work Assignments.
5. Sign all E.A.M. assignments day of completion or within 24 Hours of E.A.M. assigned completion date.
6. Provide Production Operational support as needed.
7. Complete assigned tasks, ensuring equipment is clean and sanitary. Provide final inspection of assigned work area; insuring equipment is properly re-assembled and ready for startup.
8. Do not use compressed air to clean/sweep the floor.
9. Wear all Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
10. Properly lock out / tag out any applicable equipment before  cleaning and remove Lock when completed.
11. Empty all trash cans and dumpsters when they become full and / or at the end of assigned shift.
12. Support Plant Wastewater initiatives by removing debris from plant Drains during cleaning process, containing waste oil and placing in proper  container for disposal after and during cleaning process.
13. Ensure all Tools are properly cleaned, sanitize and stored after each use. Ensure sanitation Carts are cleaned and properly covered with plastic after each use.
14. Ensure Sanitation Lockers are properly cleaned and maintained.
15. Complete any and all duties deemed necessary by plant Management.

The above duties are to be performed during normal bakery operations. All employees must follow established GMP’s along with written and spoken safety rules at all times. Any concerns should be directed to a supervisor immediately. When hired in the pay will go up to $22.74
