Summary

The Sanitation 1st Shift Helper  maintains a clean, safe, and orderly working environment within our production areas. This role plays a vital part in supporting overall production hygiene and operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick up and remove trash and waste from all production areas. 
• Transport waste to designated disposal locations. 
• Sweep and maintain clean floors throughout the facility. 
• Prepare sanitizer mixture using an automatic mixing station. 
• Spray and sanitize production floors. 
• Allow sanitized floors to air dry. 
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• No prior experience or training required — we provide on-the-job training. 

Language Skills:

• Ability to read simple words and instructions.
• Recognize similarities and differences in words and numbers.
• Communicate using basic written and spoken sentences. 

Mathematical Skills:

• Basic ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers.
• Understand basic units such as weight, volume, and distance/ 

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to follow simple instructions and work in routine environments.
• Handle standard situations with minimal variation. 

Physical Requirements

• Regular use of hands to handle materials and equipment.
• Frequent standing, walking, and reaching with arms and hands. 
• Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, or hearing
• Must frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Visual abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. 

Work Environment

• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts.
• Loud noise levels typical of a production environment.
