Position Summary

Reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor and will take direction from the Sanitation Lead.

Must be able to work in a variety of areas as needed.

Position Responsibilities

Ability to follow Sanitation Standard Operation Practices (SOPs) as written
Must adhere to all Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Sanitation rules
Able to follow directions and perform other tasks as requested
Ability to function in a constantly changing environment with a variety of tasks
Standing and working for long periods
Ability to work on a ladder and in dusty environments
Must be able to use all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to ensure personal safety
Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements

Must be able to work 8 to 12-hour shifts depending on assigned tasks
Ability to read and complete all paperwork associated with the hiring process, safety procedures, and job duties
Attention to detail and instruction provided on the job
Work in a team setting and coordinate with team members daily
Will be required to demonstrate good verbal communication with supervisors
At times, he/she should be available with short notice 7 days a week. Mainly in the pack season.
May be required to work overtime if job duties are not complete by the end of shift.
