Description
As a Sanitation team member, this person is responsible for properly cleaning and sanitizing the facility, warehouse and production areas in accordance with strict food safety standards. Regular tasks may also include properly cleaning parts, equipment, conveyers, production line equipment and various other areas of the building. Uses cleaning materials as instructed and with accordance with best food safety practices. This is an evening shift.
Ensure maximum efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of legislative, compliance, and meets company specifications. Provides direction, training, and motivation to team members, using recognition, constructive feedback, and other rewards with appropriate discretion in a continuous improvement environment. Follows all health and safety standards and enforces use of PPE’s. Ensures use of machinery, chemicals and tools are used in accordance with company policies and are properly documented.

WORK DEMANDS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this Job it is primarily working in a warehouse or chilled factory environment with prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching and lifting medium to heavy weight objects. Regularly required to grab, carry items, talk, or hear with frequent use hands to finger, handle, lift or feel. Regularly exposed to chilled temperatures. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
