Sanitation Associate

Diversified Foods and Seasonings is now hiring for Sanitation Associates

Hours: 3rd Shift (8 pm - 4:30 am)

Sanitation Workers will execute the company’s and plant’s vision and mission by assuring that all areas and equipment are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.

Responsibilities/Duties

– Sanitation will disassemble and reassemble the production line and equipment as necessary for cleaning.

– Sanitation will perform cleaning and sanitation of plant equipment and environment in a thorough and safe manner.

– Sanitation will clean the floors of all debris and rinses, as needed

– Sanitation will clean and sanitize all pieces of equipment.

– Sanitation will clean chemical cages, production areas, dry storage areas, warehouses, restrooms, and other work areas.

– Sanitation will clean buckets, trash cans, handrails, and other equipment assigned by managers at the end of the production shift.

– Sanitation will be responsible for the removal of production garbage as needed.

– Sanitation will adhere to all current GMPs, SSOPs, procedures, and quality requirements.

– Sanitation will maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.

• 1+ years in manufacturing preferred, food sanitation is a plus.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned and as changing situations arise.
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude and work ethic.
• Must follow all GMPs and work consistently with all food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb stairs.
