Working in a slaughtering establishment performing Quality Assurance and Food Safety functions. Supervising and verifying QA Technicians tasks.
Essential Functions/Duties

Complies with all company safety policies and procedures as well as complying with all OSHA rules and regulations. (THINK SAFETY FIRST.)
Performs cleaning and sanitation duties in assigned areas.
Operates all machinery in the assigned cleaning area.
Operates lift trucks and loaders as needed.
Performs cleaning and upkeep duties necessary for the proper functioning of a machine, building, etc. as required.
Disassembles and assembles simple mechanisms.
Assists and relieves other Team Members as needed.
Attends and participates in all annual, department, job specific required training and monthly informational meetings.
Communicates any problems or changes to supervisor and appropriate personnel.
Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the sanitation process in order to ensure a clean operation.
Keeps area clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
Helps to build and promote a strong “Teamwork” environment in each individual work group, the Factory, and the Company.
Participates in continuous improvement process.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Forklift experience preferred but not required
Good communication and time management skills
Be a team player
Works independently with little or no supervision.
Attention to detail
Good attendance and have a strong work ethic.
Experience:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Experience in sanitation of a food plant preferred but not required
