POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Under the supervision of the Sanitation Lead, the Sanitation Technician performs general cleaning and sanitation of the plant facility including:

• Floor & building sanitation
• Restroom & common area sanitation

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• An understanding of the value of a good sanitation program
• Mixing and managing chemicals
• Ability to follow instructions and good manufacturing policies 
• Maintain a safe clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to work with others.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Well organized with attention to detail.
• Team orientated.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to stand, bend and twist for a 10-hour shift.
• Constantly push and/or pull.
• Continuously use fine dexterity and/or forceful grasping.
• Occasionally crawl, kneel, and/or squat.
