Job Description - Santa Fe & Surrounding Area MST

Behavioral / Mental Health Therapist (MST)

Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico Employment Type: Full-Time Licensure Required: LMHC, LMFT, LMSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, LCSW (Active NM License)

Bring Your Clinical Skills Where They Truly Matter

Are you a therapist who values connection, culture, and community just as much as clinical excellence?

In Santa Fe where tradition, resilience, and storytelling shape everyday life we're looking for grounded, compassionate therapists to join our team and support youth and families through Multisystemic Therapy (MST).

This is not a typical office-based role. This is meaningful, boots-on-the-ground work meeting families where they are, honoring their lived experiences, and helping create real, lasting change.

If you're ready to step away from burnout culture and into purpose-driven work, this might be your next chapter.

Why You'll Love This Role

  • Flexible schedule that respects your life outside of work

  • Authentic connection with families in their homes and communities

  • Balanced caseload so you can do deep, meaningful work

  • Culturally rich environment rooted in the diverse traditions of New Mexico

  • Supportive team culture no micromanaging, no "hustle" pressure

  • Purpose-driven work that makes a visible difference in youth and families

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide in-home and community-based therapy for youth (ages 10–17) and their families

  • Use strength-based, culturally responsive interventions tailored to each family

  • Partner with caregivers, schools, and community supports to create sustainable change

  • Work independently with strong team backing when needed

  • Maintain a manageable caseload for quality, not quantity

  • Participate in weekly supervision and ongoing development

Who You Are

  • Licensed in New Mexico (LMHC, LMFT, LMSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, LCSW) – Preferred but not required

  • Clinically confident with strong judgment and real-world experience

  • Deeply culturally aware and respectful of diverse communities

  • Comfortable working independently while staying connected to a team

  • A calm, steady presence someone who listens first and leads with empathy

  • Passionate about meeting people where they are literally and emotionally

What We Offer

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K

  • True Work/Life Balance your well-being matters here

  • Monthly Cell Phone Stipend

  • Paid Sick Leave + PTO

  • Mileage Reimbursement

  • A non-corporate, human-centered culture

  • Work that aligns with your values not just your resume

Who Thrives Here

This role is perfect for therapists who:

  • Have experience and are ready for a more intentional, grounded way of working

  • Value connection over productivity quotas

  • Appreciate the slower rhythm and cultural richness of Santa Fe

  • Want to make an impact without sacrificing peace of mind
