SAP APO SNP / PPDS Managing Consultant: Must live close to major US Airport

AP APO Consultant will be responsible for successful delivery of Supply Planning solutions leveraging APO SNP and PPDS solutions. The Consultant will be involved in developing the business case for supply planning solutions to influence operational metrics and KPIs. The Consultant will leverage his subject matter expertise in the area of Supply Chain Management processes as well as APO SNP / PPDS towards solution design, build, customization, test & deployment during various client engagements.

The consultant will lead workshops, lead team of consultants and subcontractors, coordinate with other teams for successful delivery of integrated solutions as well as ensure development of functional and technical documentation. The Consultant will leverage project management skills to develop detailed task plan towards timely completion of project milestones. The consultant will manage client relationships and drive consensus on complex business solutions.

The candidate should have demonstrated capability to analyze business processes, functional and technical requirement. The consultant must possess subject matter expertise in rough-cut-capacity planning, safety stock planning and two of the three (Heuristics, CTM, Optimizer) planning engines. The candidate should demonstrate deep understanding of SAP package solution implementation tools and methodologies (such as ASAP). Familiarity with other supply chain tools such as SCOR model, APICS certification, PMP would be added assets.

Required

• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 3 years experience in Supply Chain Planning process definition, analysis, design, and implementation
• At least 3 years experience in CIF set-up and customization to source data from SAP and non-SAP applications
• At least 1 year experience in safety stock planning capabilities, including extended safety stock planning, of SNP
• At least 1 year experience in implementing solutions related to business scenarios like make-to-order, Variant configuration, and Characteristics dependent planning
• Basic knowledge in package solution implementation methodology and tools
• Basic knowledge in Test case planning, test script development and execution
• Readiness to travel 50% travel annually
• English: Basic knowledge

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 4 years experience in Supply Chain Planning process definition, analysis, design, and implementation
• At least 4 years experience in CIF set-up and customization to source data from SAP and non-SAP applications
• At least 3 years experience in safety stock planning capabilities, including extended safety stock planning, of SNP
• At least 3 years experience in implementing solutions related to business scenarios like make-to-order, Variant configuration, and Characteristics dependent planning
• At least 2 years experience in package solution implementation methodology and tools
• At least 2 years experience in Test case planning, test script development and execution
• Certified in SAP APO
• English : Intermediate
