Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced expertise in the SAP PM module, optimizing maintenance operations, and driving improvements across asset management processes. This role involves supporting SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA systems globally, ensuring the seamless integration of PM functionalities with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Module Expertise: Act as the primary advisor for SAP PM, delivering in-depth support and consultation for preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance processes.
• Configuration & Customization: Lead the configuration and customization of the SAP PM module, tailoring it to meet organizational maintenance and asset management needs.
• System Optimization: Identify and implement enhancements to streamline maintenance workflows, ensuring compliance with operational goals and industry best practices.
• Implementation Support: Design, test, and implement SAP PM solutions, including work order management, equipment tracking, and plant maintenance scheduling.
• S/4HANA Projects: Contribute to SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration efforts, focusing on data conversion, integration, and system alignment for maintenance operations.
• Integration Management: Ensure seamless interaction between SAP PM and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI/CO, and SD) while collaborating with external application teams.
• User Training & Support: Deliver training sessions and ongoing support for business users to enhance proficiency in SAP PM functionalities and processes.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SAP PM implementations, recommending improvements to ensure operational efficiency.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain compliance with industry standards and internal policies, while developing detailed documentation on processes, configurations, and user guides.
• Innovation: Stay updated on the latest SAP PM developments and emerging trends, proposing innovative solutions to improve asset management practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  1. Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PM consulting or equivalent roles.
  2. Proven expertise in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep functional knowledge of SAP PM, including equipment master data, maintenance planning, and notification management.
  1. Experience with SAP Fiori applications for maintenance.
• S/4HANA Migration: Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA brownfield/greenfield migration projects, particularly around PM data migration and process re-engineering.
  1. Integration Knowledge: Proficient in SAP cross-module integration and middleware technologies.
  2. Certifications: SAP certifications in Plant Maintenance and SAP S/4HANA are strongly preferred.
  3. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  4. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with IoT-enabled maintenance solutions.
• Experience with condition-based monitoring systems and data-driven maintenance strategies.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology for implementation projects.
