Job Summary

Experienced SAP PP-PI Consultant with strong expertise in production planning for process industries and integration with Quality Management. Skilled in configuring process orders, master recipes, BOMs, batch management, and inspection processes. Proficient in S/4 HANA implementation and rollout for biotech/life sciences, with hands-on experience in EWM, MES, eLIMS, IDocs, and middleware (BTP/CPI). Capable of building interfaces with planning tools (Kinaxis, Anaplan, IBP), supporting CAPA processes, automation, and continuous improvements. Adept at collaborating with business, quality, manufacturing, and IT teams to resolve production and quality issues, ensure compliance, and deliver high-quality SAP solutions.

Experience

• Minimum 1 full S/4 HANA implementation and rollout project in biotech/life sciences.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP-PI and QM modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP PP-PI processes: process orders, master recipes, BOMs, resources, phases, and production execution.
• Integrate PP-PI with QM for in-process and finished product inspections.
• Configure inspection lots, inspection plans, MICs, sampling procedures, results recording, usage decisions, and stock postings.
• Manage batch processes: classification, derivation, release, and stock disposition (quality, unrestricted, blocked, rework, scrap).
• Ensure integration across PP-PI, QM, MM, and Inventory Management in procure-to-produce lifecycle.
• Support integration with S/4 HANA and EWM for production planning/QM.
• Analyze and resolve production/quality issues related to master data, inspection setup, process orders, confirmations, and inventory postings.
• Collaborate with business, quality, manufacturing, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement SAP solutions.
• Support CAPA processes, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in FUT, SIT, and UAT with script design and execution.
• Work on integration objects with MES, eLIMS, IDocs, and middleware (BTP/CPI).
• Build interfaces between S/4 HANA and planning tools (Kinaxis, Anaplan, IBP).
• Apply techno-functional knowledge for interface development and enhancements.
• Drive MRP planning improvements and MD04 enhancements.
• Implement automation for process improvements.
• Utilize testing tools and Solution Manager for change release processes.
