Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as the Director of SAP S/4 HANA Operations and Transformation. This role will ensure the operational excellence of our SAP S/4 HANA systems while leading our transformation journey. The successful candidate will manage a team of 25 consultants and one direct report, focusing on SAP Basis administration, testing, release management, and strategic enhancements.
Responsibilities:
Lead the SAP Basis team to maintain the stability, performance, and security of SAP S/4 HANA systems.
Implement best practices for system administration, monitoring, and incident resolution.
Optimize SAP environments hosted on AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define transformation objectives, timelines, and success criteria.
Drive the strategic roadmap for release management, landscape management, and quality assurance automation.
Oversee the S/4 HANA Test COE, focusing on test strategy, automation, and performance testing.
Implement testing methodologies and tools to ensure quality and reliability.
Lead the Release Management team in orchestrating changes in a dual landscape environment.
Coordinate with development, QA, and business teams to plan and execute releases with minimal production impact.
Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of 25 consultants and one direct report.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance work culture aligned with organizational goals.
Develop team talent through coaching, training, and career development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
12+ years of experience in SAP operations and transformation, with a focus on S/4 HANA.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams in complex IT environments.
Expertise in SAP Basis administration, S/4 HANA migration, testing, and release management.
Proven track record in leading large-scale SAP transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of AWS Cloud infrastructure and its integration with SAP systems is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant certifications in SAP, SAFe Agile, project management, or related fields are a plus.
