SAP Security Lead

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead, govern and oversee security architecture, administration, and operations support team for the global SAP landscape. 


• Provide technical leadership and operational oversight to SAP security team.


• Serve as the escalation point for complex or high-risk access and authorization decisions. 


• Partner with functional and development teams to ensure shared accountability for appropriate access decisions.   


• Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures and control sets. 


• Validate documentation, testing and validation of roles, processes and controls. 


• Collaborate and assist internal/external audits and provide information. 


• Perform system access reviews to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and standards. 


• Responsible for coaching, motivating, mentoring, and developing direct reports to successfully take on additional responsibilities. Interview and hire team members.


• Create plans, assign work, and create opportunities to develop leaders.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering or related area, with at least 5 years of experience. 


• Occasional travel (0-5%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with creating and managing SAP user access and knowledge of SAP security roles.


• Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.
