SAP Solution Architect

Summary

The SAP Solution Architect – Logistics is responsible for designing and driving end-to-end SAP solutions across manufacturing and supply chain processes with a focus on SAP PP, MM, and QM. The role ensures that business requirements are translated into scalable, integrated SAP solutions aligned with global standards, while supporting the Americas region. In addition to the architectural responsibilities, the role includes leading a small team of SAP analysts, supporting their development and ensuring high-quality delivery. A deep understanding of SAP end-to-end process integration, including touchpoints with SD and ideally Variant Configuration (VC)

What You'll Do

• Design end-to-end SAP solutions across logistics and manufacturing processes with a focus on PP, MM, and QM.


• Ensure seamless integration with SD and other adjacent modules, with understanding of cross-functional dependencies.


• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable SAP solution designs aligned with global standards.


• Drive solution decisions, balancing standard SAP capabilities with business needs.


• Contribute to and align with the global SAP architecture and template approach.


• Lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions in PP/MM/QM and related areas.


• Ensure high-quality delivery across projects, including configuration, testing, and deployment.


• Support and guide complex troubleshooting, including ABAP debugging where required.


• Ensure system integrity and consistency across integrated applications.


• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment with global processes.


• Support process standardization and optimization across the Americas region.


• Evaluate impacts of changes on the overall SAP landscape and business processes.


• Provide 2nd level support for SAP ERP, BI/BW/SAC, EDI, and integrated systems.


• Act as key technical contact for the Americas region for SAP-related topics.


• Ensure documentation, knowledge transfer, and key-user enablement are in place.


• Lead and support a small team of SAP Analysts (approx. 3 people).


• Provide coaching, technical guidance, and support professional development.


• Ensure effective collaboration, accountability, and service-oriented mindset within the team.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field.


• 10+ years of hands-on SAP experience, with strong focus on PP, MM, QM.


• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or senior functional expert in SAP.


• Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain processes.


• Experience with integration points to SD, VC knowledge is a plus.


• Experience with ABAP debugging/programming is a plus.


• Exposure to SAP BI/BW/SAC topics is a plus.


• Experience in requirements engineering and solution design.


• Experience in leading or guiding small teams.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication skills with ability to work across technical and business teams.


• Experience in international environments is a plus.


• Project management experience is a plus.

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $150,000 - $165,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 15% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
