Saw Helper (Afternoons) Garden City

Extrusion Saw Helper (3pm-11pm) Monday-Saturday
**Must be able to train on day shift (5am-3pm) and/or (5am-1pm)

• Extrusion Saw Operators review work orders to prepare workflow.
• Help Saw Operator load material into heat treat racks.
• Verify correct cut length(s) using appropriate measuring tools.
• Ensure spacers are properly inserted between layers of extrusion as needed.
• Ensure proper piece count per rack is recorded on production report.
• Helps Stretcher stack and stretch extrusions, as needed.
• Perform duties and responsibilities when assigned or reassigned
• Must wear PPE required for this position (i.e: safety glasses, steel toe, ear plugs, gloves, etc.).
• Complete trainings as assigned and/or needed for positions

• Minimum One (1) year experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
• Must be able to read tape measure to the accuracy of 1/16".
• Must have basic safety knowledge, preferably in manufacturing environment.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must possess high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalent.
• Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Must possess the physical abilities to perform all functions and duties of the position at all times, without accommodation(s).
