Job Description - Sawmill Worker - General Laborer


Seeking dependable individuals for a general laborer position in a sawmill. This position involves hands-on, physical work to support the daily operations for the sawmill. 

Location: Swainsboro
Pay Rate: $15 per hour



Requirements:
  • Ability to shovel and remove saw dust and wood debris from work areas
  • Capable of sorting and organizing wood pieces and materials
  • Ability to clean and maintain work areas within the sawmill and assist with general labor tasks as needed
  • Must have the ability to perform heavy lifting 
  • Must be comfortable working in a dusty, industrial environment
  • Ability to stand, lift, bend and stoop
  • Reliable transportation
