Note

We're seeking candidates with 3+ years of commercial lending loan documentation and closing experience. Strong drafting skills and hands-on experience supporting commercial loan transactions are essential. SBA lending experience is preferred but not required.

Job Description

As our SBA / Commercial Lending Paralegal, you'll be an important part of our commercial lending team, helping move sophisticated financing transactions from documentation through successful closing.

• Draft, review, and prepare commercial loan documents for SBA and conventional lending transactions.
• Manage commercial loan closings, including due diligence, closing checklists, settlement statements, and funding coordination.
• Collaborate directly with attorneys, lenders, borrowers, title companies, and third-party providers.
• Review credit approvals, organizational documents, title commitments, surveys, and collateral documentation.
• Coordinate multiple transactions, resolve documentation issues, and help ensure accurate, timely closings.
• Support team members and contribute to an efficient, organized, client-focused lending practice.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial lending loan documentation and closing experience.
• Strong experience drafting commercial loan documents and supporting complex financing transactions.
• Knowledge of commercial loan closing procedures, title documentation, and due diligence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to independently manage deadlines.
• SBA lending experience preferred but not required.
• Title company or escrow experience is a plus.
