Electronics Maintenance Tech is responsible for the repair, modification, and maintenance of a variety of electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems. You will be working on highly complex systems and equipment that are mission critical for the platforms that they operate on.\n\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\n\n * Support the repairs and manufacturing of electronic assemblies. Troubleshoot electronic assemblies to determine cause and remedy for malfunction applying basic knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks.\n\n * Test and accept assemblies per approved ATP procedures.\n\n * Perform visual and mechanical inspections.\n\n * Prepare Line Replaceable Units for testing. Perform touch ups.\n\n * Disassemble, repair, and re-assemble LRUs using electronic work instructions or applicable technical documents. Implement depot service bulletins.\n\n * Interpret drawings and parts lists.\n\n * Clean, inspect, and handle precision optics.\n\n * Maintain and repair shop equipment.\n\n * Utilize common electronic test equipment, lifts, test fixtures, and hand tools.\n\n * Perform basic soldering tasks.\n\n * Document maintenance actions in Ready Blue or applicable data systems. Submit replacement parts requests.\n\n * Support projects and meetings to improve repair processes. Provide input and support to production schedules and hours.\n\n * Obtain in a reasonable time frame and then maintain all applicable work-related certifications. \n \n \n \nThis position may be field at a Level 1 or 2 Tech. \n\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Level 1: Must have High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of Electronics related experience. Will consider associate\u2019s degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position, with 3+ years of relevant electronics experience OR Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Electronics related field with 1 year of relevant electronics experience. \nLevel 2: Must have High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of Electronics related experience. Will consider associate\u2019s degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position, with 5+ years of relevant electronics experience OR Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Electronics related field with 3 year of relevant electronics experience.\n\n * Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Excel\n\n * Must be able to work various shifts as needed.\n\n * Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia\n\n * Familiarity with Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeter (DMM) or similar test equipment\n\n * Self\u2013starter with ability to work with little to no supervision.\n\n * Ability to recognize basic electronic components and work from schematics, diagrams, rough sketches, and verbal instructions.\n\n * Ability to follow test procedures, work instructions and other process documents.\n\n * Work well in a team environment.\n\n * Able to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance. \n\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Associate\u2019s degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position, with 5+ years of relevant electronics experience OR Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Electronics related field with 1 year of relevant electronics experience.\n\n * Experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in a lab environment\n\n * Experience testing and troubleshooting LRU assemblies and sub-assemblies\n\n * Experience testing and troubleshooting Electronic Warfare systems\n\n * Soldering experience or familiarization\n\n * Have a current Secret DoD clearance \n\n\n\n\n\nNGSkills\n\n#NGSCA\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $29.37 - $29.37\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $30.92 - $30.92\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
