Scale House Dispatcher/sales support

Strittmatter Companies is a leading provider in the site development industry, specializing in excavation, grading, and soil management. We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scale House Dispatcher/Sales Support to help our sales team and scale house. This person will contribute to the successful sale and delivery of recycled concrete products, blue stone products, and soil materials for our customers’ projects.

Job Summary: As a Scale House Dispatcher/sales support, you will play a key role in supporting our daily operations, focusing on managing material orders, assisting with customer inquiries, and coordinating logistics for the delivery of stone or soil-related products. You will work closely with the sales team and customers to ensure efficient operations, timely deliveries, and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Works in a team environment with other Scale Dispatchers to process customer orders for stone products and other soil-related materials.


• Respond to customer inquiries about product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.


• Coordinate stone and soil deliveries to customers’ projects.


• Manage inbound and outbound scaling of trucks to ensure proper weight and products per customer’s order.


• Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and inventory tracking for stone and soil products.


• Prepare quotes, invoices, and other sales-related documents for clients.


• Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including follow-up calls, email correspondence, and order tracking.


• Handle any issues or delays with orders, working to provide quick resolutions and maintain client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales, business, or a related field is a plus.


• Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or a related administrative role is preferred.


• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and proper phone etiquette.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Tac Insight software is a plus.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


• Familiarity with the construction or soil industry is an advantage but not required.
