POSITION SUMMARY

The Scan Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all store price tags and signage are accurate and up to date. This role includes checking in vendors to confirm that all delivered products are correctly received and priced. The coordinator will monitor inventory discrepancies, communicate with vendors as needed, and uphold pricing integrity throughout the store to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Performs required item file maintenance using computerized point of sale system.

Follows established guidelines for completion of all required forms, records, reports and verify receipts.

Removes and replaces shelf tags in proper location.

Generates new item shelf tags as necessary using personal computer and printer.

Performs required item file audits to ensure accurate pricing.

Edits item files in order to track the sales movement of selected items as required.

Uses manuals or directories to find information.

Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds

Makes legible hand printed signs for displays.

Performs all job functions with limited supervision.

Follows written and oral instructions.

Performs all job functions with acceptable speed and accuracy.

Identify appropriate register keys to be used to correctly record the sale of merchandise.

Follows all established policies, procedures, and laws governing the performance of job functions.

Standing and/or walking for extended periods of time to perform job functions.

Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Follows dress code.

Follows established safety policies and procedures.

Works well with others.

Speaks English fluently.

Possess full range of motion on shoulders, arms, hands, legs and feet.

Can perform basic math. 

Ability to write or print legibly

Education

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
