Scanning Quality Control Operator

Our partner is seeking a Scanning Quality Control Operator based in Columbus, OH. The person in this role will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing the quality of invoice images using scanning software and related tools to ensure all materials meet client and department standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control checks to ensure invoice images are legible and meet all quality standards.
• Rescan and replace poor-quality images using a computer and designated tools.
• Research and resolve issues in the unscanned, no-image, and orphan image queues.
• Operate IBML scanners to complete scanning tasks.
• Scan bills and other documents received from various work groups.
• Conduct scanning demonstrations for client tours as needed.
• Provide backup support for scanning staff, archive retrieval, and outbound mail.
• Perform day-shift scanning and image enhancement as required.
• Follow all established procedures, standards, and policies.
• Work overtime as needed to meet operational requirements.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a utility or production-oriented environment.
• Understanding of utility procedures and workflows.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with computer software tools used for data entry and departmental operations.
