Job Summary:
The Production Schedule Coordinator is responsible for organizing and managing the day-to-day activities surrounding customer orders to ensure customer deadlines are met and maximum operational efficiency is achieved. This role is responsible for coordinating production operations, ensuring on-time delivery of products, monitoring customer orders, and communicating orders with the production floor to ensure on-time delivery.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· None
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Create production schedules that ensure continuous plant operation and prevention of downtime to minimize profit loss
· Distribute production schedules out to the production floor based on customer orders and upcoming deadlines
· Provides administrative support to other departments
· Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls
· Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to analyze and solve problems
· Strong organizational skills
· Excellent computer skills including proficient use of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access
· Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to manage multiple projects
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma/GED
· NetSuite experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting
