Job Description - Scheduler

This position works under the guidance of the Master Scheduling Manager assisting with scheduling functions. This position operates within FDA, FSMA and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) requirements defining food safety standards for the safe production of food in the plant and offices i.e. within the standards of defined risk levels by area.

Schedule: 8:00 am -4:00 pm

Job Location: Racine, WI

Salary: $65-70,000+ annually; based on experience

Essential functions:

1. Using forecasting software, determine production requirements.

2. Schedule production at the facility.

3. Assign new item SKUs and determine production process.

4. Manage rework at our locations.

5. Process shipments of finished goods to our facility and outside warehouses, coordinating shipments from co-packers and working with freight carriers as needed.

6. Request required ingredient documentation from the Supply Chain department for co-packers.

7. Reconcile co-packer invoices and provide supporting documentation to Accounts Payable as needed.

8. Update co-packer pricing and spray dry base sales prices in the ERP system quarterly or as required.

9. Determine ingredient requirements for upcoming production campaigns.

10. Process production orders in the ERP system for products produced at co-packer locations.

11. Reconcile inventory at co-packers following production campaigns.

12. Coordinate the return of remaining raw ingredients to our facility once the copacker production campaign is complete.

13. Enter loads into the TMS system as necessary.

14. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Master Scheduling Manager.

Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in related field within manufacturing setting.

Computer Skills: High level of Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP/MRP systems required.
