Scheduler – Home Care

Freedom Home Care is seeking an organized, motivated, and compassionate Scheduler to join our growing administrative team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our clients receive dependable care by coordinating caregiver schedules, filling open shifts, and providing exceptional support to both clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Coordinate caregiver schedules and daily staffing.

  
  


• 
  

  Fill open shifts and respond to caregiver call-offs.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate professionally with clients and caregivers.

  
  


• 
  

  Verify completed visits and documentation.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate scheduling records in AxisCare.

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with nurses, HR, and management to ensure continuity of care.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with staffing for evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergencies when needed.

  
  


• One Weekend per month on-call for scheduling.

Qualifications

• 
  

  Previous scheduling, dispatching, customer service, or administrative experience Required.

  
  


• Previous Home Care experience preferred.


• 
  

  Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  
  


• Previous Caregiver experience preferred.


• 
  

  Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable using computers, smart phones, and learning scheduling software.

  
  


• Familiar with using the Microsoft platform and its apps, such as Word and Excel.


• 
  

  Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
