Full Time Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

$20.00 p/h 

StarCare has provided excellent care for over 25 years in the community and surrounding areas.  Our Team works around the clock to provide the best care that our patients deserve.  We are passionate about our calling and only have our patient's best interests in mind as we serve and implement the plan of care.  Our Scheduler provides services in accordance with company policies and is responsible for the coordination of the daily referral and intake operations including providing direct oversight and implantation of corporate intake standards while ensuring compliance with state, federal and other referral/intake regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Will: 

• Ensures compliance with state, federal and other referral/intake regulatory requirements. 
• Implements and utilizes work methods and best practices to ensure clients are admitted in accordance with corporate policy and procedure. 
• Ensures, timely, accurate and maximum their-party reimbursement through insurance verifications, authorization and appropriate diagnosis coding. 
• Establishes maintains positive working relationship with current and potential referral sources. 
• Builds and monitors community and customer perceptions of company as a high-quality provider of services. 
• Gathers collets and reports referral statistics including key customer referral trends. 
• Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of contractual relationship and ensures that clients are admitted according to contract provisions. 
• Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assists referral sources in accessing community resources should services be provided 

Qualifications: 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills and public relations skills. 
• Computer proficiency with the home health specific software systems
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing home care 
• Must have experience in intake and admission of home health and private duty clients. 
• Proven ability to market services and handle clients tactfully and respectfully.
