Job Summary
The scheduling coordinator performs clerical functions to ensure the efficient processing of referred clients to Qualicare Family Home Care. She/he organizes and schedules referred clients and anticipates staffing requirements to effectively manage client volumes. The activities are conducted in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures; may be required to be on call after regular business hours as directed by the Administrator and/or Care Coordinator.

Responsibilities 

  • Effectively meets the needs of each client by scheduling the client with caregiving services 

  • Monitors referral trends and anticipates increases/decreases 

  • Responds to client/employee inquiries immediately 

  • Ensures all relevant information is received either in written/verbal/electronic format

  • Assists with tracking and validating client-related documentation

  • Assesses client satisfaction 

  • Responds promptly to incidents/complaints/compliments, documenting completely and relaying information to Care Coordinator immediately

  • Serve as the on-call contact for caregivers and clients during assigned times

  • Maintain compliance with Qualicare brand standards and policies

  • Provides administrative support to the office team as needed. 

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of caregiving experience (required)

  • Knowledgeable in all Windows applications 

  • Experience with scheduling software is an added benefit 

  • Strong customer service skills

  • High attention to detail 

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and multitasking skills

  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

  • Flexibility to work on-call hours (including evenings and weekends)

  • Must have a working phone and computer with reliable internet access




Compensation: $16.00 per hour
