The Opportunity
Life Sciences and Industrial Manufacturing Senior Planning and Scheduling Manager
Mace is seeking a full time Senior Planning and Scheduling Manager for Life Science and Industrial Manufacturing projects to work directly with our Clients on capital projects.
Your Responsibilities Include:
Ability to absorb and analyze large amounts of schedule information/data quickly to highlight relevant trends and issues to project team and key stakeholders, such as schedule progress comparisons, productivity and efficiencies analyses, schedule risk reviews.
Providing Program Level Leadership as an extension of the client’s Senior Leadership team to ensure the overall successful completion of the program/s as may be assigned.
Establishing key relationships with the client and other key stakeholders.
Implementing an appropriate and effective project planning and scheduling framework.
Effectively manage the performance of the program scheduling team to execute assigned capital programs and projects, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery on large complex programs and projects.
Acting as the key client and consultant interface at all project stages ensuring that client and quality objectives are met, and projects are delivered on time.
Directing project planning and production of the detailed project plan.
Providing strategic advice from project conception stage to achieve overall objectives, development of success criteria for the project timeline.
Establishing/implementing/managing the effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout a project.
Monitoring and applying performance management techniques using KPI’s to improve project performance.
Managing the reporting and the flow of program/project information between the team and the client.
Awareness of current methodologies & tools to manage / analyse develop planning / schedule information related to projects (e.g. MS Excel, MS Project, Primavera P6).
Leads application of specific planning/scheduling methods, techniques and tools.
Good working knowledge of planning/scheduling, EVM, project controls methodologies
Ability to advise on complex requirements and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively.
Able to manage planning/scheduling delivery of medium/high complexity, projects/programs.
Ability to play key role in multidisciplinary teams and take lead role in creating plans or analyzing trends using numerical and statistical techniques.
Leads and manages a team of professionals delivering planning/schedule management services and responsible for staff development.
Excellent written communication skills, clear & concise.
As a planning / schedule management specialist, stays up to date with key industry / professional trends.
In depth knowledge of schedule management tools & software.
Able to provide effective & timely advice to clients.
Understanding of data management.
Creating and delivering persuasive presentations to large audiences.
Qualifications:

About You
You will have relevant degree (MS or MBA preferred) and achieved professional qualification. You have demonstrated capital program leadership experience.

Effectively, managed integrated team(s) on large complex and multi-phase Life Science and Industrial Manufacturing capital programs. You have knowledge of multiple project delivery methods, including alternative project delivery (Design Build and Construction Manager at Risk).
