Role Responsibilities

1. Frame policy documents regarding travel scholarships and update them in a timely manner


2. Constantly be in touch with the faculty incharge of different campuses to get their perspective on potential improvement in the evaluation/administration of travel scholarships


3. Facilitate timely and smooth transfer of funds to student’s mess accounts with the help of finance team and faculty in charge

1. Receive applications from students/faculty incharge and decide on their eligibility for travel scholarship


2. Inform students in a timely manner about their elgibility/status of the application


3. Send eligible applications from students to the BITSAA evaluation panel and obtain panel's perspectives on whether or not to provide a travel scholarship to the concerned student


4. Update BITSAA website about the travel scholarship recipients


5. In case of loan scholarship, maintains a database of students who received loan and their tentative repayment dates

Team Leader - Merit Cum Need Scholarships

Role Responsibilities

1. Assist alumni in the creation of new MCN scholarships


2. Constantly stay in touch with alumni to ensure timely fund transfer to BITS


3. Inform SWD about the formation of new MCN scholarships and their eligibility criteria


4. Aid SWD in case of doubts about eligibiliy criteria of various BITSAA MCN scholarships and ensure proper communication between SWD and BITSAA Scholarships on MCN front


5. Inform respective donor alumni about the particulars of the students awarded with the scholarship


6. Maintain a database containing a list of students receiving MCN scholarship every semester


7. Update BITSAA website about the MCN scholarship recipients

Team Leader - Graduate Application Scholarships

Role Responsibilities

1. Work with Design Team to prepare poster for GRA scholarship to be displayed across all BITS campuses


2. Send emails through SWD of each campus publicizing GRA scholarship


3. Work with Tech Team to create online form for   students to submit their applications and test it


4. Work with Social Media / Newsletter teams to call for applications and publicize through all BITS and BITSAA channels (Eg. Facebook, Twitter, etc.)


5. Receive applications and send it to BITSAA evaluation panel for evaluation based on certain fixed criteria


6. Announce results to recipients based on the panel's decision


7. Facilitate timely and smooth transfer of funds to students mess accounts with the help of finance team and faculty in charge

Role Responsibilities

1. Administer BITSAA awards in various BITS campuses


2. Coordinate with the campus reps to get the certificates and  trophies done


3. Ensure periodic communication with SWD to ensure smooth administration of awards


4. Constantly keep in touch with alumni to ensure timely fund transfer to BITS


5. Handle other adhoc awards as and when they are created


6. Update the website with the details of award winners and communicate it to the donor
