Job Description - School -Based Occupational Therapist

Adelphi is seeking Occupational Therapists (OTs) to provide school -based services for students within a school district in Scappoose, Oregon. The Occupational Therapist will deliver services aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using a primarily consultative, classroom -based (push -in) model.

Requirements

• Active Oregon Occupational Therapist license in good standing.

• Pediatric experience required; school -based experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of IEP processes and school -based service delivery.

• Ability to provide consultative and push -in services within classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services aligned with student IEP goals.

• Deliver services primarily through a consultative model, not pull -out therapy.

• Provide push -in support within classrooms, assisting students in real -time learning environments.

• Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and staff to implement strategies and accommodations.

• Evaluate student needs and contribute to service planning and eligibility.

• Provide training and consultation to staff on therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reporting.

• Participate in IEP meetings and school -based team discussions.

• Ensure compliance with FERPA and all applicable regulations.

• Provide all services on -site only (no teletherapy).

• Perform other duties as assigned.
