Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate, dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a preschool setting in Gilford, New Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working with young children and wants a rewarding career with a predictable daytime schedule.

As the preschool nurse, you'll play an important role in supporting the health, safety, and well-being of students throughout the school day. You'll work closely with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure children receive the care they need in a nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to preschool-aged students during the school day.


• Assess and respond to student health concerns and minor illnesses or injuries.


• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies.


• Monitor students with chronic medical conditions and implement individualized care plans.


• Maintain accurate health documentation and medication records.


• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to promote student health and safety.


• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.


• Foster a caring, calm, and supportive environment for students.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Hampshire


• One year of recent clinical nursing experience preferred


• Current CPR certification (renewal classes available through Interim HealthCare)


• Strong communication and organizational skills


• Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working with young children


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


• Reliable transportation
